Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our sports program, overseeing a range of student active programs and operations. This key leadership role involves building strong relationships with stakeholders and providing strategic advice to senior management.
About the Role
- Manage a broad range of inclusive student active programs, including esports & games, and oversee the operations of key sporting and fitness facilities.
- Develop and manage student sport and fitness activities programs to improve student experience and participation in student life.
- Experience in managing people and resources, implementing business improvement in a complex environment, and leading a commercial sports and/or fitness operation.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience in developing and managing student sport and fitness activities programs to improve student experience and participation in student life.
- Experience in managing people and resources, implementing business improvement in a complex environment.
- Leading a commercial sports and/or fitness operation, including budgeting, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
- Well-developed problem-solving and creative thinking skills demonstrated in the design and delivery of improvements to customer service processes, systems, and workforce capability.
- Experience in encouraging a workplace culture of high performance and promoting accountability for outcomes.
- Demonstrated understanding and commitment to diversity, inclusion, and reconciliation.
