Job Description

The role of a Warehouse Operations Specialist is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining an organized warehouse environment, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines and optimize productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Picking and packing goods with heavy lifting involved
  • Goods receiving and shipment sorting
  • Maintenance of stock records and labelling of stock
  • Restocking shelves on a daily basis and assisting in monthly stocktakes
  • Maintaining a tidy, organized, and hazard-free work area
  • Operating forklifts and hand-operated tools

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license
  • LF - Forklift License
  • Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical, including a drug & alcohol screen
  • Ability to provide a current national police clearance upon request
  • 3+ years' experience in a similar position (warehouse/stores)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet designated deadlines
  • Previous exposure to stock control software will be looked upon favorably
