The Role

We are seeking an experienced Logistics and Procurement Expert to join our team in Carole Park. The successful candidate will be responsible for executing strategic supply chain management, vendor relationships, demand reviews, day-to-day purchasing activities, and third-party logistics (3PL) management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Chair Demand Review Meetings and actively participate in Sales & Operations Process (S&OP) activities.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP)/Production Planning processes.
  • Champion forecasting data integrity and commercial participation by all stakeholders.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders, including Finance, Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Marketing, to communicate business plans.
  • Identify opportunities and recommend strategies for inventory control and management.
  • Formulate, analyze, and present Demand Exception reports for use within the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
  • Assist with sourcing and selecting the best purchase package.
  • Manage inventory levels of materials or products in collaboration with Operations and budget requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform day-to-day purchasing duties.
About You

The ideal candidate will possess strong relationship-building skills and be able to influence stakeholders. A team player with flexibility and adaptability to change is required. Strong organizational skills, excellent planning, time management, and prioritization abilities are essential.

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least 2+ years' experience in a similar role.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in demand planning, purchasing, logistics, and processes within a manufacturing environment.
  • Able to accurately interpret production orders.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
