Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of the Kindergarten, including staffing, ratios, policies, and regulations.
  • Roster staff and manage staff relationships.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care and education.
  • Work closely with an area manager to achieve Kindergarten goals.
  • Attend staff meetings and ensure effective communication with staff.
  • Ensure the Kindergarten is providing the highest quality care and education.

Requirements:

  • Completed Early Childhood Teaching Degree.
  • Current VIT registration.
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Experience in running sessional kindergartens.
  • Confidence in leading and mentoring staff.
  • Experience handling parent enquiries and conducting tours/orientations.
  • Experience writing and implementing policies and procedures.
  • Solid understanding of the EYLF and Victorian regulations/legislation.
  • Commitment to a long-term role.
