We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Trades Assistant Labourer to support our tradespeople on various job sites.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring all necessary equipment and materials are prepared for the task at hand.

About the Role:
  • Assist tradesperson on-site with day-to-day tasks
  • Prepare and set up all required tools, materials, and equipment for the job
  • Filling, maintaining, and cleaning blasting equipment as needed
  • Shadowing tradesperson to provide hands-on support as needed
  • Performing sanding and spotting work as part of surface preparation
  • Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Following all safety protocols and site procedures
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a construction or industrial environment preferred
  • White card
  • Able to follow instructions and work closely with a team
  • Physically fit and capable of manual labour
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
  • Basic knowledge of tools and materials used in the trade
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety standards
  • Experience with industrial coatings or abrasive blasting (desirable)
