Commercial Upholstery Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Upholstery Expert to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality bespoke upholstery solutions to commercial clients.

  • Design and manufacture custom upholstered furniture pieces according to client specifications and design requirements.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents to ensure accurate fabrication and upholstery.
  • Select suitable materials, fabrics, and upholstery techniques based on project requirements and client preferences.
  • Operate various hand and power tools, as well as specialized upholstery equipment, to complete fabrication and upholstery tasks efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless coordination and high-quality results.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including proper storage and maintenance of tools and equipment.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as an upholsterer in a commercial workshop environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of upholstery techniques, materials, and tools.
  • Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
