{"About the Role": "We are seeking a Hydrogeologist to contribute to our scientific understanding of groundwater systems and their capacity to provide sustainable water supply for stock and domestic use on the Bass Strait Islands.Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake investigative work to examine the water balance, hydrogeology, extent, and quality of groundwater.
* Provide authoritative advice and expertise to support our scientific understanding.
* Liaise with consultants, contractors, and local community members, including farmers and landowners.
* Work in an office-based environment in Devonport, Launceston, or Hobart, with travel to Bass Strait Islands as required.
