**Project Overview:** This project is a significant industrial development featuring over 220,000 square meters of warehouse solutions. As phase one of a three-phase project, it promises substantial growth and exciting challenges. It is designed with sustainability at its core, including advanced energy-efficient lighting and rainwater harvesting systems. Strategically positioned for excellent access to major motorways, this development is set to become a pivotal logistics hub. **About the Role:** As a Project Manager, you will manage the builder based in their Sydney head office, overseeing planning, scheduling, and execution activities. This role requires a strong construction background and experience working on-site, as you will be transitioning your skills to a developer-owner perspective. You will ensure compliance with development timelines and construction programmes, collaborating closely with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to drive the project to meet strategic goals while maintaining a steadfast focus on quality, safety, and environmental compliance.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage and coordinate planning and scheduling activities in alignment with development/construction programmes.
  • Facilitate pre-planning and planning administration, including DA submission, CC, and OC approvals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Oversee design queries, distribute design documentation, and manage general project administration.
  • Assist in contract and document management, including preparing tender invitations, conducting tender analysis, and assessing variations and EOTs.
  • Prepare meeting minutes, progress claim assessment reports, and monthly reports.
  • Support Senior Project, Construction, and Development Managers.
  • Supervise contractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
  • Monitor all aspects of project performance, ensuring adherence to programme, WHS, quality, cost, and stakeholder satisfaction.

**Skills & Attributes:**

  • 4+ years of experience in project management, particularly in industrial, retail, or commercial development.
  • Demonstrated experience in full-cycle project management, from initiation to completion.
  • A strong understanding of construction costs, building estimation, and project feasibility.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to foster positive relationships.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a proactive approach to project challenges.
