About the Role:

The Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry is seeking a Chief Information Officer to provide strategic leadership in driving the department's ICT transformation agenda.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide strategic leadership in driving the department's ICT transformation agenda
  2. Ensure the effective operation and performance of all departmental ICT services
  3. Align initiatives with the department's business strategy to enhance service delivery, efficiency and innovation
  4. Determine how to achieve the above results through adaptation and development of ICT solutions
  5. Support the department's ambitious and forward-looking reform agenda by leading the ICT transformation

Requirements:
  • Senior Executive Service capability for the SES Band 2 level
  • Negative Vetting 2 security clearance
