Specialist Family Violence Practitioner

Berry Street's Northern Specialist Family Violence Service (NSFVS) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Family Violence Practitioner to join our team. As a Specialist Family Violence Practitioner, you will play a critical role in providing a specialist family violence case management response to victim survivors and their children.
Key Responsibilities- Assess family violence risk and work intensively with victim survivors and their children to identify goals and achieve them.
- Provide comprehensive risk assessments (CRAF or TRAM) and develop effective case management plans.
- Engage with key service providers in the Moreland LGA and other LGA's as required, and build and strengthen networks and partnerships.
- Work collaboratively with the Berry Street NSFVS team to provide a supportive and collaborative team environment.
- A minimum Bachelor level qualification in Social Work, equivalent qualifications, or recent employment in the family violence sector.
- Experience in working with women and children from diverse backgrounds who have experienced family violence.
- Ability and experience to undertake comprehensive risk assessments (CRAF or TRAM).
- Above award salaries & allowances.
- $15,900.00 pa (pro rata) Salary Packaging + Additional Salary Packaging for meals/accommodation.
