We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Consultant to join our team at Darnley Island Primary Health Care Centre. Located in the picturesque Torres Strait, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our community.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding position that requires a strong background in primary health care, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care in a remote setting. As a Clinical Nurse Consultant, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive healthcare services to the community, including health assessments, disease management, and health education.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality patient care, including health assessments, disease management, and health education.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and service delivery.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of health programs and services that address the needs of the community.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with current AHPRA registration.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in primary health care or a related field.
- ALS and PALS Certification (in last 12 months)
- Neonatal ALS Certification
- MEC/TNCC/REC Certification
- RAN or RIPRN Certification
- Understanding Immunisation Certificate
