The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing works tirelessly to create equitable opportunities for all Victorians to live a safe, respected and valued life.
We focus on various areas including child protection, housing, disability, family violence prevention, multicultural affairs, LGBTQI+ equality, veterans' services and youth support.
Our work has a significant impact on thousands of Victorians, particularly those who are disadvantaged and vulnerable.
Our teams operate in diverse community-based settings, including people's homes, residential facilities and secure locations across metropolitan, rural and regional Victoria.
The RoleThis key position is responsible for leading a team to oversee and manage various Aboriginal housing initiatives, including the Victoria Big Housing Build Aboriginal stimulus package, and develop future policy and reform requirements to improve housing outcomes for Aboriginal Victorians.
The successful candidate will collaborate with teams across government and external stakeholders to ensure reforms align with broader Government priorities.
