About The Role

  • Cultivate key relationships with donors to build trust and long-term engagement, supporting them to understand the transformational impact of their contributions.
  • Active management of a portfolio of prospective major and mid-tier donors to support priority projects and initiatives.
  • Support the delivery of relevant donor events, communications, and stewardship activities.
  • Maintain effective records of donor engagement through our CRM system.
  • Engage in professional development to enhance skills that support philanthropic programmes and initiatives.

Key Requirements**

This role will suit someone who has:

  • Proven experience in fundraising, marketing, or community engagement, ideally within a non-profit and/or educational environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship management skills, including the ability to build relationships and effectively communicate and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent project management skills, time management, and multitasking abilities, with the capacity to meet deadlines and priorities.
  • Demonstrated ability in strategic planning, creative thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills, and data interpretation.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing, communications, and fundraising principles, particularly within the education sector.
  • Previous experience working within a complex customer-focused organisation and a proven capacity to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Ability to be flexible, adaptable, and innovative to meet changing needs, with the capacity to demonstrate initiative and work autonomously when required.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, as well as proficiency in CRM systems.

This position may require working across all campuses, including attending weekend and evening events as needed.
