About You:

  • Australian Citizen with ability to obtain AGSVA Baseline.\r
  • Expert in test automation with 2-3+ years in a Lead/Senior Automation role where you have reviewed and selected tools and then implemented them for a number of projects and platforms.\r
  • Experience in front-end, API, mobile and back-end testing, performance testing nice to have.\r
  • Expertise in modern testing methodologies and frameworks – eg Shift-Left.\r
  • Deep experience in Agile ways of working.\r
  • MUST have experience in large enterprise corporate environments or government running multiple platforms, technology, and programs.\r

About This Opportunity:

  • This is a long-term day rate contract (3+ years), reporting to the Test Director looking after a Federal Agency's major platforms.\r
  • The opportunity can be based in any capital city with hybrid workplace flexibility and a Market Day Rate on offer.\r
  • You'll influence key decisions around automation and drive continuous improvement.\r
  • You'll work with JIRA, X-Ray, Playwright, Selenium, Postman, Appium to name a few whilst keeping abreast of the latest tools, testing approaches like shift-left, and work on a variety of systems and apps including Salesforce, API's, mobile and digital apps, Power BI, JIRA Confluence etc.\r
  • You'll automate Front-End UI, API and backend testing, an interest in Accessibility or WCAG (Jaws etc) highly regarded.\r
  • This challenging, fast-paced opportunity offers a stable income estimated at $AUD 120,000 - 150,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.\r
