Specialized Mental Health Practitioner Opportunities in Rural Queensland

We are seeking skilled and compassionate mental health professionals to join our dedicated team supporting regional and remote communities across rural Queensland.

  • This role involves providing high-quality patient care in various clinical settings, including:

Community mental health teams

  • Case management teams
  • Inpatient units
  • Acute and sub-acute facilities

Our staff work in a variety of locations, including Gladstone, Rockhampton, Emerald, Mackay, and multiple Metropolitan Public Health Service sites across rural and remote QLD. To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a mental health professional
  • Minimum 12 months recent experience in mental health settings
  • QLD Health experience highly regarded
  • Ability to work independently in rural settings
  • Current police check and relevant vaccinations
