Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the Works and Services Department's operations and service delivery.
  • Oversee internal and external company resource and operation management.
  • Coordinate and execute field-based outdoor operations.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate Works and Asset Management Systems.
  • Advise and guide Supervisors, Team Leaders, employees, and contractors.
  • Consult with the General Manager on construction, maintenance, and projects.
  • Develop departmental Key Performance Indicators with the General Manager.
  • Manage plant and equipment cost-effectively.
  • Maintain assets to meet service levels.
  • Recommend workplace improvements to the General Manager.

About You:

  • Significant experience in a senior supervisory or management role within a project management or civil construction environment.
  • Ability to interpret and apply legislative requirements.
  • A proven track record of planning and delivering major projects.
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a diverse workforce, to achieve operational and strategic outcomes within a safe and constructive workplace.
  • Proven strategic thinking capability, management skills, and the ability to achieve results.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Financial management skills; proven experience in managing large and complex budgets.

Tertiary or equivalent qualifications in Project Management, Management, Civil Construction, Engineering, or a related field, and/or extensive relevant experience is required.
