We have an excellent opportunity to join our Retail Life Insurance team as a Senior Underwriter.

This is a full-time role, but we are also open to the role being part-time. The role can also be based in Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne, or North Sydney.

You will develop and maintain relationships with key advisers, alongside effective management of designated adviser panels. Collaborating with various stakeholders, you will provide technical advice and support, ensuring underwriting standards and service level agreements are applied to all cases received, applications, and pre-assessments.

Unlock Your Potential

  • Strong experience in individual term life, income protection, TPD, and trauma insurance underwriting with high-level authorities.
  • Ability to adapt to new technologies and processes, ensuring seamless integration and continuous improvement within dynamic environments.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a solutions-driven approach.
  • Medical terminology knowledge.
  • ANZIIF and ALUCA certifications are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
