About the Role

A dynamic and experienced professional is sought to lead our kitchen team as a Kitchen Manager at Wahlburgers. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct all facets of daily kitchen operations, ensuring seamless execution of menu items and exceptional quality control.
  • Oversee the hiring, training, and development of new staff members, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Coach and counsel existing staff to achieve whole-team success, focusing on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Achieve or exceed budgeted cost centers through effective planning, scheduling, and execution, maintaining a keen eye on inventory management and ordering.
  • Maintain our high standards for consistency in recipe and menu item execution, ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.
  • Supervise scheduling and time-management for team members, promoting work-life balance and employee satisfaction.
  • Maintain a professional restaurant and team member image, including restaurant cleanliness, proper uniforms, and appearance standards.
  • Uphold restaurant safety, sanitation, and security standards at all times, handling chemicals safely and ensuring a safe and harassment-free environment for all team members and managers.
  • Ensure building, equipment, furniture, and fixtures are in good repair, clean, and maintained on a regular basis.
Critical Skills & Certifications
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in managing kitchens in a high-volume atmosphere, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills, with the ability to inspire cooperation and teamwork through self-confidence, attitude, and enthusiasm.
  • Extensive knowledge of culinary leadership, kitchen operations, and meticulous culinary skills, with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to manage inventory and allocate responsibilities and resources effectively, with a keen eye on cost control and efficiency.
  • Organized and systematic approach to work, with the ability to prioritize efficiently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills, with a focus on quality control and continuous improvement.
  • Compliant and up-to-date on all necessary certifications, with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, sanitation, and security.
