Finance Analytics Leadership Role

The Finance Innovation and Analytics department plays a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing best practice financial business intelligence to support strategic and tactical financial management decisions.

This leadership position reports to the Executive Manager and involves delivering contemporary analytics and business intelligence solutions that support QFD financial management and high-quality decision making. The selected candidate will provide expert advice to senior leaders on finance analytics and business intelligence matters, build strong relationships with stakeholders, and enable the development of high-quality data models and interactive reporting solutions with a focus on end-user experience.

Key requirements include experience analyzing complex datasets and translating requirements into data models and structures, skills in BI technologies including data warehousing (Azure, SQL Server), SQL, PowerBI, and qualifications in data science or related fields. Additionally, capabilities such as stimulating ideas and innovation, leading change in complex environments, building enduring relationships, driving accountability and outcomes, fostering healthy and inclusive workplaces, and demonstrating sound governance are essential for success in this role.
