Project Management Specialist

This role offers a unique opportunity to work collaboratively across different business units and workstreams, ensuring comprehensive support for the organization.

The Project Management Specialist will provide administrative assistance on larger projects, contributing to the success and growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare templates and artefacts using various software (e.g. MS Office Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project)
  • Coordinate and at times, facilitate project/workstream sessions/SteerCo meetings
  • Provide drafting support for meeting materials on behalf of the Business & Planning Manager, Head of Governance & Risk, or other program managers as needed
  • Produce ad-hoc reporting to encourage/demonstrate compliance with processes, support leadership team decision-making
  • Proactively identify and manage project risks
  • Provide financial management support, including purchase order management, validation of invoicing and accruals and statement of work approvals

Requirements

  • Experience with project, program, and portfolio management and governance
  • Microsoft Office suite skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) plus experience using Project, Visio, and SharePoint
  • Well-organised and efficient at prioritising tasks
  • Strong communication skills
  • Pro-active and a self-starter
  • Capable of maintaining structure in an unstructured environment
