Electrical Apprentice Mentor Job OverviewThis role is ideal for an experienced electrical tradesperson who has a passion for developing the next generation of electricians.You will work closely with our clients' cohort of apprentices to ensure successful completion of their electrical apprenticeship. Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing mentoring, support, and assistance to Apprentices throughout their electrical apprenticeship
  • Assisting Apprentices with barriers and/or challenges they may encounter and implementing appropriate support plans
  • Conducting site visits with host employers and Apprentices
  • Promoting safety and wellbeing in the workplace
  • Liaising with stakeholders to assist in identifying early intervention needs and support issues to achieve positive training outcomes
Educational RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will require:
  • An excellent understanding of the electrical industry and its practices
  • A strong communication and interpersonal skills base
  • The ability to build and maintain positive relationships with a variety of clientele
  • Energetic and engaging personality traits
