About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Places to Play Officer to join our team at Sport NSW. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with external and internal stakeholders to deliver projects and services aimed at enhancing the network of tennis facilities in NSW.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive project management, administration, and business support
  • Assist with the Tennis NSW Facility Enhancement Fund by maintaining the grant platform, supporting applicants, and managing grant data
  • Help manage the Tennis NSW Project and Investment Ready Toolkit, including resources and communications
  • Support the Places to Play Manager and Places to Play Lead with initiatives, local government engagement, network planning, venue sustainability, and other projects from the Tennis Development team
  • Utilize GIS mapping and other network planning tools, data analysis, and research to generate impactful insights, reports, and presentations

About You

We are looking for an individual with excellent organizational skills, high-level computer skills, and a strong interest in sport, preferably with a background or knowledge of Tennis. Tertiary qualifications in Recreation Planning, Sports Administration, or a related field are highly desirable.
