The Royal Hobart Hospital is a tertiary referral hospital in Tasmania providing general and specialty medical services 24/7.

As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager and senior staff to deliver efficient care based on best practices within a collaborative framework. You will assist in planning and managing staff and resources, providing operational leadership through patient care activities coordination.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Demonstrated clinical experience in relevant areas, exercising professional judgement and initiative.
  • Ability to understand business operations, delivering outcomes within available resources, including patient flow principles and discharge planning.
  • Capacity to contribute to service evaluation, innovation, and development, reviewing clinical practice policies and protocols.

This part-time position (48 hours per fortnight) offers a competitive salary range ($106,570 - $112,440 per annum pro rata) and opportunities for professional development and accelerated pathways.
