Job Description

We're seeking an experienced and passionate Developmental Educator to join our team in Melton. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you'll play a vital role in providing person-centered support and planning for people with disabilities, their families, and support teams.

  • Develop strong relationships with participants and their support networks to help them achieve their goals and aspirations.
  • Use evidence-based practice and professional reasoning to recommend the most appropriate team of supports, therapy, duration, location, and timing.
  • Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team, including allied health assistants, to deliver high-quality services that make a real difference in people's lives.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor or Masters degree in Disability (or equivalent) and eligibility to be a member of the DEAI.
  • Ability to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working with Children's Check.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Possession of strong advocacy skills, empathy, and understanding, with the ability to work in a non-judgmental manner.
  • Capacity to drive high-impact outcomes and provide person-centered support.
