Storeman Position

Key Responsibilities

Receive and sort incoming parts and supplies.
Collect, pack, dispatch, or deliver ordered parts.
Assist with packaging and delivery of stock, as well as receiving incoming stock.
Store items in an orderly and accessible manner.
Process incoming requisitions and issue parts and supplies for internal use.
Participate in stocktaking and update data in the system.
Ensure the Parts Department is clean, safe, and tidy.
Maintain merchandise displays and ensure non-essential stock is returned to suppliers promptly.
Adhere to occupational health and safety (OHS) standards and company policies.

Essential Skills & Experience

Applicants must have legible handwriting for accurate record-keeping and strong basic numeracy skills, as the role involves stocktaking and inventory management.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication skills for liaising with customers and team members.
A keen sense of safety and awareness of OHS practices.
Previous experience with inwards/outwards store procedures is preferred but not essential.
Mechanical aptitude or familiarity with automotive parts is highly regarded.
A valid Victorian Driver's License (manual preferred).
Forklift License (or willingness to obtain).
