The Role

We are seeking an experienced Merchandise Planning Manager to lead our merchandise planning efforts, driving the development and execution of strategies that maximize sales, income, and inventory targets. As a key member of our team, you will be empowered to collaborate with cross-functional teams, lead and develop a team of 10, and oversee a significant inventory portfolio of over $400m.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize purchasing decisions, maintain proper inventory levels, and maximize profitability.
  • Develop and execute first-class assortment and merchandise planning initiatives, driving sales, income, and inventory targets.
  • Lead and develop a team of 10, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements
  • A proven track record as a Merchandise Planning Manager or similar role, with experience in merchandise planning, forecasting, and inventory management within a retail environment.
  • Proven leadership skills, with ownership and accountability for the entire merchandise planning function, including strategy development and team management.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex quantitative data and make sound commercial recommendations.
