Medical Practitioner in a Coastal Tasmanian Town

Ochre Health is seeking an experienced General Practitioner to provide medical services in Strahan, a picturesque town on Tasmania's West Coast.
The practice offers a range of health services including family medicine, women's and men's health, occupational medicine, travel advice, vaccinations, and more. You will be supported by a CDM-trained nurse, a senior practice manager, and visiting allied health professionals.
As a Medical Practitioner in this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a DPA status practice with significant reduction in moratorium. The location is classified as an MMM6 area, making it eligible for rural relocation and retention grants.
We offer a competitive salary of $300K-$350K per annum, assistance with accommodation and car, relocation, procedural, CPD, WIP, and retention grants. Choose your working days during the week and participate in the VMO roster in Queenstown to supplement your income.
The jewel of the West Coast, Strahan is known for its tourism and fishing activities. Take a ride on the West Coast Wilderness Railway or board a Gordon River Cruise to explore the region's stunning wilderness.
To be successful in this role, you will require General Registration or above with AHPRA, proficiency in common general practice conditions, and a current emergency medicine certificate (ALS2/REST) if participating on the VMO roster.
