About the Role

We are seeking a highly qualified and passionate Italian teacher to join our team. As a member of our staff, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our students and contribute to their growth and development.

The successful applicant will be responsible for delivering high-quality Italian language and culture lessons to secondary students, developing engaging and challenging learning experiences that cater to all students' needs and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess Italian language and culture lessons to secondary students.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Contribute to building capacity in others and supporting student engagement and achievement.
  • Participate in curriculum planning, implementation, and evaluation.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor of Education or relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Strong commitment to Catholic education.
  • Ability to develop and maintain professional and caring relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to create an engaging, educational, and challenging learning environment that caters to all students.
  • Willingness to learn and apply a differentiated curriculum; proficient use of modern technology to support learning.

Special Requirements:

  • Commitment to safety, wellbeing, and inclusion of all children; demonstrate understanding of providing a safe environment for children.
  • Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration (or ability to obtain).
  • Accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic school is preferred.
