Job Description: Merchandise Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to take on the role of Merchandise Sales Representative. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for developing strong customer relationships with local farmers, primary producers, and trade clients.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing knowledge and support to existing and new customers
  • Processing sales orders, stock control, and preparing orders for delivery
  • Providing customer service as the primary contact for key clients regarding product pricing, logistics organisation, and product availability
  • Resolving customer issues proactively and efficiently

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Previous experience in a team support role in a busy environment
  • Possession of excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A proactive approach to work and practical organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to develop solid and long-term customer relationships
