At Stantec Consulting International Ltd., we're seeking a skilled Structural Engineer to join our team of talented professionals. As a key member of our Fredericton, NB office, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of challenging and impactful projects.

Our diverse team of designers, engineers, scientists, and project managers collaborate at the intersection of community, creativity, and client relationships.
The ideal candidate will work with general supervision and direction on average-sized projects, participating in the evaluation, recommendation, and specification for engineered systems or products. You'll engage in the development of designs through engineering calculations, sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats.
You'll also utilize technologies to develop three-dimensional models of structural systems, provide markups for junior engineers/designers, and prepare documentation in various structural phases. Additionally, you may lead project coordination meetings and participate in client project meetings, value analysis, and basic cost estimating.
This role requires strong communication, coordination, and time management skills, as well as a thorough understanding of structural engineering concepts. You should be able to effectively communicate ideas to others and possess experience with industry standard structural analysis software suites.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering is required, along with licensure as a Professional Engineer in a Canadian province. A minimum of 4 years of experience is necessary, with graduate degrees and/or successful completion of the NCEES PE Exam highly valued.
