About the Role

This is a dynamic position that requires sound horticultural skills to maintain various landscape assets.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation and minor maintenance of horticultural and landscape plant and equipment, as well as playground maintenance and repairs.

We are seeking a qualified team player with experience in hard and soft landscape maintenance and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and commitment to occupational health and safety.

About You
  • Minimum Certificate III in Horticulture (Landscaping) or other relevant qualification;
  • Experience in a mix of hard and soft landscape maintenance and equipment;
  • Commitment to quality control processes and occupational health and safety;
  • Current manual Victorian drivers' licence;
  • Medium Rigid Truck licence or willingness to obtain if requested;
  • Traffic management training;
  • Basic carpentry trade skills;
  • Good knowledge of plants and turf identification, nutritional needs and practices to promote healthy growth;
  • Understanding of requirements for providing safe playground facilities;
  • Application of traffic management and control procedures for worksite maintenance;
