About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished technologist to join our multi-cloud Infrastructure and Delivery Unit, tasked with delivering Cloud Landing Zones and modernization projects for various key accounts and industry domains.

This is a market-first opportunity to serve as a Lead Infrastructure Consultant and act as a multi-cloud subject matter expert to provide technical guidance on solutions design, governance, security, operations, and cost control best practices. Your proficiency and contributions will be pivotal in driving the ongoing expansion of our GCP capability within the Australian region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and build cloud-based infrastructures and landing zones
  • Create Infrastructure architectures and technical documentation
  • Implement secure cloud foundational implementations, automated provisioning of infrastructure and applications, and cloud-ready applications architecture
  • Deliver end-to-end cloud-based infrastructure management solutions
  • Present Infrastructure modernization strategy to C-level executives
  • Improvements to monitoring, logging, and observability in client environments
  • Define and implement cloud infrastructure governance and building deployment standards
About You

To be successful in this role, you will require hands-on Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) development experience, Google Cloud Platform certification, and a minimum of 3 years of practical experience using its suite of tools. Additionally, you will need experience with virtualization: servers, storage, networks, and infrastructure-based processes such as monitoring, capacity planning, performance tuning, disaster recovery, data centre exit, and experience with Google's Cloud Foundation Toolkit and Landing Zone implementations.
