About the Role

As an Aged Care Home and Community Support Worker, you will deliver personalized home care services to older Australians in Rockhampton, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

We offer casual opportunities with flexible shifts available between 7am and 7pm, Monday to Sunday. This role is ideal for someone looking to make a positive impact in their community, develop skills, and build a career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide domestic assistance including light house cleaning and meal preparation
  • Offer personal care support including showering, daily hygiene, and monitoring health and wellbeing
  • Assist clients to access medical appointments and social activities
  • Support clients with daily tasks and routines
  • Build positive relationships with clients and their families

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle with minimum third-party insurance
  • Strong communication skills to build and maintain positive relationships
  • Passion for making a positive impact in the aging community
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates (must be obtained prior to employment)
