Timber Mill Operator

Seeking experienced individuals with a passion for problem-solving and manual handling to join our team of skilled Timber Mill Operators.

This is a permanent, full-time position based at our Kyogle site where you will be responsible for tasks including grading, stacking, sorting, and strapping timber products.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to safety in the workplace. Previous experience in manufacturing or a related field is highly desirable.

The successful applicant will also have the opportunity to work across different machinery and equipment, develop their skills through training, and contribute to a dynamic and supportive work environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ongoing work with timber including grading, stacking, sorting, and strapping.
  • Ad-hoc plant duties to ensure the smooth running of operations.
  • Inventory management.
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy work area.
