The Underwriting Director plays a critical role in shaping our company's business strategy, working closely with senior management to drive growth and profitability.

This leadership position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and interpersonal skills. You will be responsible for directing a team of underwriters, providing coaching and development opportunities to help them grow in their careers.

In addition to your leadership duties, you will participate in the development and implementation of underwriting policy, marketing, and business strategy. You will also be responsible for reviewing and directing the application of underwriting policy and pricing for all risks within an assigned book of business.

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven individual who is passionate about underwriting and has a proven ability to achieve business results through effective management and strategic planning.

Candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of underwriting experience, with a strong background in insurance principles, practices, and procedures. A bachelor's degree or higher is preferred, along with relevant professional designations.
