Senior Environmental Advisor

We seek a seasoned Environmental Advisor to ensure compliance and support project continuity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with site teams for environmental compliance understanding and commitment.
- Coordinate land access permitting processes for timely progression.
- Support auditing, inspection, monitoring, and reporting procedures.
- Assist in incident reporting, investigations, action tracking, and completion.
- Provide timely and professional environmental advice to site personnel.
- Support stakeholders and provide scientific guidance on environmental aspects.
- Interpret legislation, government standards, and agreements, providing informed commentary and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate and execute environmental monitoring and project scopes.
- Collect and integrate data for compliance and reporting requirements.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and participate in external audits as needed.
Requirements:
- A degree in Environmental Science or a related field.
- Extensive experience in environmental management within the mining industry.
- Significant hands-on site experience is required.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
- Problem-solving skills and mentorship abilities are essential.
- Proficiency in GIS software is necessary.
