About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Database Architectural Specialist to join our team. This is a key position in shaping enterprise data solutions, supporting a robust platform, and enabling advanced analytics and reporting.

In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain enterprise data models, ensuring integration, data quality, and scalability across complex environments. You will drive best practices in data modelling, ELT (Extract, Load, Transform), metadata management, and deliver innovative insights that support strategic business outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise data models aligned to our requirements.
  • Ensure data integration, quality, governance, and scalability across on-premise and cloud environments.
  • Apply best practices in data modelling, ELT, and metadata management; enable self-service analytics and reporting.
  • Collaborate with analytics teams to translate business needs into data solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong experience with SAP HANA 2.0 (data modelling, calculation views, security roles, and data quality tools like SDI/SDQ).
  • Skilled in designing and optimising databases with SQL, relational modelling, and performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of data pipelines across on-premise and cloud data platforms.
  • Experience using reporting and visualisation tools such as SAC and Microsoft Power BI.
  • Good problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions clearly.
