Job Opportunity

We are seeking a detail-oriented Test Engineer to join our cybersecurity team.

This is a great opportunity for individuals with a foundation in cybersecurity, systems engineering, or computer science who are eager to gain hands-on experience testing and evaluating secure systems in support of national security or enterprise IT missions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in the design, development, and execution of test plans and procedures to assess cybersecurity posture and system functionality.
  • Collaborating with senior engineers to conduct vulnerability assessments, security testing, and system evaluations.
  • Executing tests in Linux/Unix-based environments, troubleshooting issues, and documenting results.
  • Supporting the automation of test processes using scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
  • Utilizing CI/CD pipelines and Docker containers to streamline deployment and testing workflows.
  • Working with source control systems like Git for version control and collaboration.
  • Analyzing test data, identifying anomalies, and assisting with root cause analysis.

Required qualifications include:

  • Active Security Clearance required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating systems and system-level testing.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments using Docker.
  • Basic proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.
  • Hands-on experience with Git and collaborative software development tools.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, vulnerabilities, and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, STIGs).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
