Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and collect a variety of freight in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely and efficient service to our customers.
  • Provide exceptional customer service at every stop, fostering strong relationships and exceeding expectations.
  • Maintain a professional presentation, adhering to our high standards and values.
Requirements:
  • A thorough knowledge of Brisbane metro and surrounding areas, enabling effective navigation and route planning.
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to adapt to changing environments, prioritizing tasks and managing workload efficiently.
  • Familiarity with manual handling techniques and a focus on safety, minimizing risks and promoting a safe working environment.
  • ABN and relevant insurance(s), meeting regulatory requirements and ensuring compliance.
  • Full Rights to Work in Australia, confirming eligibility to work in the country.
Insurance Requirements:
  • Motor Vehicle Insurance – Comprehensive third-party liability, minimum limit: $20 million, protecting against unforeseen events and financial losses.
  • Public Liability Insurance – Minimum limit: $20 million, safeguarding against potential liabilities and damages.
  • Freight/ Marine Insurance - $50,000 minimum, covering cargo and marine-related risks.
  • Workers Compensation – As required by law, providing essential support and protection for employees.
  • Workplace Health & Safety Policy, outlining procedures for maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.
  • Drug & Alcohol Policy, ensuring a zero-tolerance approach to substance abuse.
  • Speed Management Policy, emphasizing responsible driving practices and road safety.
  • Fatigue Management Policy (If operating vehicle over 4.5 tonnes), addressing driver well-being and fatigue prevention.
  • Incident Report Capability, facilitating prompt reporting and investigation of incidents.
  • Current Medical, verifying medical fitness for work and adherence to health standards.
