**Payroll Officer: A Key Role in Administration**
We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Officer to join our team. As a Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for providing quality and consistent payroll/administrative activities and support.
- This role involves working closely with the People & Culture team to ensure that all payroll tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have experience in payroll data entry, including working in high transaction volume environments. They will also possess excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Key responsibilities of this role include:
- Providing information and assistance to staff through various forms of correspondence
- Undertaking administrative duties such as scanning, emailing, photocopying, typing, document production, data entry, record keeping, and filing
- Maintaining accurate personnel records and providing timely payroll reports
- Assisting in the preparation and processing of fortnightly pay runs, including checking timesheets within required deadlines
- Preparing, processing, and reporting on workers compensation claims, including reviewing and reconciling reimbursement schedules
- Processing employee terminations and providing employees with certificates of service when required
