About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable law firm as a Licensed Conveyancer. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing conveyancing transactions from start to finish, ensuring seamless and efficient property exchanges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review contracts for sale, including post-exchange documentation.
  • Manage conveyancing transactions, overseeing the entire life cycle of a matter.
  • Conduct PEXA settlements and handle all related administrative tasks.
  • Attend to property registration via PEXA.
  • Prepare settlement statements and figures to ensure accurate financial handling.
  • Liaise with clients throughout property exchanges to keep them informed.
  • Coordinate with mortgage lenders and other parties involved in the transaction.
  • Ensure timely transfer of ownership and exchange of contracts.
  • Perform ad hoc duties as required to support the conveyancing process.

About You:

To be considered for this opportunity, you will possess the following:

  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Licensed Conveyancer.
  • Experience using PEXA.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage client expectations effectively.
  • Ability to take ownership of files and manage them independently.
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and ability to handle complex situations with professionalism.
