Clinical Lead - Adult Mental Health

The Clinical Lead will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and direction to the Allied Health Team. The team's primary focus is on delivering high-quality person-centred care in an acute mental health environment.

  • Provide clinical leadership and accountability, ensuring staff work within a recovery evidence-based framework.
  • In collaboration with the Allied Health Manager and other healthcare staff, provide leadership for clinical governance and clinical direction of the Allied Health Team.
  • Maintain a small caseload as when required.
  • Provide professional supervision and clinical direction, mentorship of new and junior staff to develop professional competency, whilst embedding evidence-based practices.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant, recovery-focused, therapeutic allied health profession / AHPRA Registration.
  • A minimum of three - five years post-qualification experience in a relevant clinical area and of supervising staff is preferred.
  • Drivers Licence.
  • Proven ability to provide clinical leadership in an acute mental health environment and experience in developing, delivering and evaluating recovery evidence-based therapy programs within the multidisciplinary team.
