Job Description

This is a hands-on position within a small, tight-knit finance team, reporting to the Financial Controller. Key duties include:

  • Reconciling bank accounts and credit cards, including inter-entity loans and balance sheet items
  • Preparing BAS documentation for multiple entities within the group
  • Maintaining the fixed asset register
  • Processing Accounts Payable invoices
  • Managing a full-function, end-to-end payroll for approximately 40 staff
  • Driving process improvements, system changes, and advancing the finance function
The Ideal Candidate

The successful applicant should possess:

  • A degree in Accounting or Finance, preferably with a CA/CPA qualification
  • Experience in hands-on reconciliation duties and BAS preparation
  • Experience managing a full-function payroll
  • Able and willing to process AP invoices daily

Experience in the residential construction sector and proficiency in Xero are highly regarded.
