Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned leader to join our team as a Quality and Education Manager. In this pivotal role, you will play a crucial part in empowering your team to deliver exceptional care that truly makes a difference.

The core responsibility of this position is to provide quality-focused leadership, coaching, and guidance in relation to documentation/recording to ensure care and services provided meet expected outcomes.

  • Develop team members' knowledge and understanding of expectations of practice within the framework of aged care quality standards and their own scope of practice.
  • Maintain the Care Home's Plan for Continuous Improvement (PCI) in collaboration with the leadership team, including the transfer of insights from the Quality Indicator Report and monthly review meetings with other leadership team members.

You will be responsible for ensuring Government NQIP program data is submitted in line with established timeframes, analyzed, and any improvements documented and actioned.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Nursing with current APHRA registration.
  • Strong interpersonal and delegation skills.
  • A passion for development, training, and education.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Aged Care and Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) is desirable but not necessary.
  • Proven track record in identifying, delivering, and maintaining quality clinical care, coaching & training.
