About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our Innovation and Ventures team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering experiments and prototypes to drive growth and efficiency improvements for the business of tomorrow.

You will partner with the Head of Innovation and Ventures, Engineering and Product teams, business stakeholders, and technical development teams to design and deliver experiments and prototypes. Your technical leadership will be instrumental in implementing technical designs and providing guidance to the team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and maintaining software applications using Python
  • Building websites, components, and applications using.NET Core, SQL Server, Next JS, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Working with the data analytics and insights team to establish customer segmentation, analytics, tagging, and tracking using Tealium CDP
  • Maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure Dev Ops
  • Reviewing and collaborating with the Product Owner on stories and acceptance criteria to deliver experiments and prototypes in successive iterations
  • Partnering with the Lead Engineer, Product Owner, and technical team in requirement analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation of experiments
  • Solving performance problems and technical challenges when necessary
  • Contributing to the team strategy and planning, setting, and development of the experimentation roadmap
  • Leveraging data and analytics to develop a deep understanding of customers and customer behaviors to inform experiment direction
  • Engaging with key business stakeholders to identify opportunities for growth and efficiency improvements

Requirements include:

  • 5+ years of commercial experience in developing web applications using C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, and Web API
  • Experience analyzing and working with structured and unstructured data
  • Experience building LLM applications and Machine Learning models
  • Proficient understanding of client-side scripting, JavaScript libraries, and web frameworks, including React JS, jQuery, Bootstrap, and Angular JS
  • Strong experience with Azure Dev Ops and its various components
  • Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS
  • Good understanding of Data Engineering principles and software design principles and patterns
