Senior Governance Specialist

The role of Senior Governance Specialist is critical to the success of our organization. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing governance materials that meet the highest standards of quality and stakeholder expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive governance frameworks that align with industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with project teams to drive project management discipline and embed standard project portfolio management frameworks across the portfolio.
  • Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders to ensure seamless alignment of portfolio needs and outcomes.
  • Ensure timely completion of outstanding actions and tasks assigned to project team members.
  • Motivate and inspire the team by promoting a culture of commitment to our values, decision pillars, and leadership principles.
  • Nurture internal relationships and provide coaching support to project team members where required.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience as a Project/Program Manager with expertise in portfolio management delivery frameworks.
  • Proven track record of developing high-quality Steering Committee Reports, Dashboards, and portfolio Papers for Executives, Management Teams, and Program Directors.
  • Background in financial services, business, or information technology project environments.
  • Agile, waterfall, and hybrid delivery methodology expertise.
  • Ability to work concurrently across multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Knowledge of improved project portfolio processes and toolsets.
