About the Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinician to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team in Southern Metro. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical services to children, adolescents, and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop treatment plans for children and adolescents with complex mental health issues.
  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions, as well as family therapy and counseling services.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists, to ensure comprehensive care for our clients.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment programs to address the mental health needs of children and adolescents.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance the delivery of mental health services.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A relevant degree or registration in a mental health-related field.
  • Extensive experience in the treatment and management of complex child and adolescent mental health issues.
  • Strong clinical skills and experience in conducting mental health assessments and developing treatment plans.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, and their families.
