Job Title

We are inviting applications for a part-time Biblical Studies teacher at our school, commencing in the new academic year. The successful candidate will have an understanding of the Australian Curriculum and be able to apply associated methodologies in their teaching practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach Biblical Studies from Pre-Primary to Year 6
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles
  • Foster positive relationships with students and staff
  • Participate in professional contributions to the Learning Area beyond the School

Requirements:

  • Appropriate teaching qualifications and current registration with the relevant authorities
  • High level of communication skills
  • High level of IT skills
  • High level of knowledge of the Bible and Christianity
  • Demonstrated proficiency in pedagogical approaches
  • An ability to foster positive relationships with staff and students
  • Participation in appropriate professional contributions to the Learning Area beyond the School
  • Experience in and a preparedness to contribute to the School's camping and extra-curricular programs
  • Willingness to positively and actively contribute to the Christian culture of the School
