As a Lifestyle Services Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional living and lifestyle experiences for our residents and their families. You will be responsible for providing leadership to the homes Lifestyle Services team, ensuring that all residents receive personalized support and care.

The ideal candidate will have a Certificate IV in Leisure and Health and experience as a Lifestyle Services Assistant. They will possess excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with a range of cognitive and physical abilities. Additionally, they will have knowledge of working with innovative programs to meet specific resident needs.

  • Establish Innovative Programs: Develop and implement dynamic programs of individual and group activities and services that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
  • Lead and Develop Teams: Provide guidance and mentorship to a team of Lifestyle Officers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and support to excel in their roles.
  • Comply with Aged Care Standards: Ensure that all aspects of your work comply with relevant Aged Care Quality Standards, upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Certificate IV in Leisure and Health (Essential): This qualification is a fundamental requirement for this position, demonstrating your expertise in leisure and health services.
  • Experience as a Lifestyle Services Assistant: We are seeking an individual with previous experience in this field, who can bring valuable insights and expertise to the role.
  • Knowledge of Working with Diverse Abilities: The ability to work effectively with individuals with varying cognitive and physical abilities is crucial for success in this position.
  • Innovative Program Development: The capacity to create and implement innovative programs to meet the unique needs of our residents is essential for delivering exceptional outcomes.
