About the Role

We are seeking an experienced City Assets Scheduler to join our team at Public Sector People. In this role, you will work closely with the Infrastructure Manager and Project Management team to schedule and forward plan city assets and projects.

You will be accountable for assembling and monitoring a comprehensive MS Project Chart for council assets and projects, including parks and recreation, civil infrastructure, road rehabilitation, grant-funded programs, and capital projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To succeed in this position, you will need to be an experienced project scheduler with knowledge of city assets and civil infrastructure.
  • Manage project schedules, including critical paths, milestones, baselines, and forecasts, as well as estimates and actuals data and dependencies.
  • Work with project teams, subject matter experts, and consultants to document work breakdown structures, resource requirements, and interdependencies.
  • Monitor project costs against budget and report identified budget creep in status reporting.
  • Promote continuous improvement and innovation in practices, optimization of technology, procedures, and recommendations to provide better service to clients.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualifications in a relevant discipline such as project management, engineering, or business administration, or equivalent knowledge or experience.
  • Experience with MS Projects is essential for this role.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this position is between $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. This is a contract opportunity with opportunities for professional growth and development.
